Ali obtained his engineering degree from Concordia University in Electrical and Computer engineering in 1996. He also completed advanced management and executive MBA program at McGill Desuatels International Executive Institute in 2008. Additionally Ali has obtained 10s of professional certifications, among them: Dale Carnegie (Effective Communications & Human Relations/Skills For Success), Synergy, Visionary, ITIL, PMP and SCRUM Master. Ali has 20+ years of experience in managing and leading different areas of engineering, telecommunication, network, systems and tools, projects and programs, physical and logical security, data centers and building, local and global resources, outsourcing, off-shoring, third party vendors and contractors, client relationship, contracts, business unit: operations, performance, finance and profitability. Ali is a senior leader at Orange. Orange is the telecommunication giant with over employees worldwide. Orange is the leader in telecom domain with the largest global foot print, multi-billion (with a B) dollar R&D budget and recipient of more awards and recognitions than any other global telecom provider, including: best global operator award for several years in a row and best global employer award in 2016, 2017, 2018, 2019, 2020, 2021 and 2022. Also Orange has been awarded as best global telecom operator and/or integrator practically every year for the past decade. Ali is the head of Orange global client portfolio for Canada. His team provide global telecom solutions and support to the government of Canada, and many Canadian multi-national corporations by securely connecting their global sites and offices to their Canadian headquarters. Ali is also responsible for the operation of Orange-Bell Canada partnership.
