About Ali Janoudi

Ali Janoudi joined Bank Lombard Odier & Co Ltd on 1st April 2024 acting as Head of New Markets, encompassing Middle East, Eastern Europe, Turkey and Africa. Based in Geneva, he became a Limited Partner and a member of the Private Clients Executive Committee. He also acts as Chairman of the Board of Lombard Odier Middle East Ltd. He is responsible for pursuing Lombard Odier’s growth strategy in the New Markets region and for further enhancing the Bank’s position as a wealth manager of choice for entrepreneurs and their families in these strategically relevant markets. A highly skilled professional whose 30 years of banking experience cover New York, Luxemburg, Paris and Switzerland, Ali Janoudi joined Lombard Odier from UBS, where he successfully led various international strategic units over 13 years and was a member of the Global Wealth Management Executive Committee. He held several senior leadership roles, including Head of Central & Eastern Europe, Middle East, Africa, Group Head Middle East and Africa, ensuring close coordination between Wealth Management, Investment Bank and Asset Management, as well as more recently Executive Vice Chairman. He served as co-chair of the UBS Wealth Management Diversity and Inclusion Council and joined the UBS Impact Investing Board and the UBS Global Visionary program encouraging both employees and clients to look at how their investments can create positive impact towards UN Sustainable Development Goals. Prior to UBS, Ali acted as Vice-Charmain and General Manager of Banque Libano-Française (Banque SBA) in Paris, covering Wealth Management, Trade Finance and Corporate Finance. Before this, he also spent several years with The Chase Manhattan Private Bank in the US, Luxembourg and Switzerland, covering the Middle East. He holds an MBA from George Washington University, Washington, D.C. Ali is a member of the Bretton Woods Committee, a non-partisan network of prominent global citizens who work to demonstrate the value of international economic cooperation for global well-being. He is member of the Young Presidents Organization and he is Board Trustee of Children Action, a foundation dedicated to making a difference to more than children across the world.
