Completed my Bachelors of Engineering Science in Electrical and Computer Engineering with a focus on electronics, mechatronics, and manufacturing automation followed by a Masters of Engineering in Electrical and Computer Engineering in Robotics & Controls. I’m an avid programmer in almost a dozen programming languages and counting, from assembly to SQL. Experienced in markup and scripting languages as well, and even PLC programming. Currently diving deep into the world of Machine Learning, and AI/Deep Learning/Natural Language Processing. Used this newfound knowledge to create an autonomous driving system using Tensorflow, YoloV8, and computer vision with OpenCV. Working on creating financial models for use in financial trading. I consider myself a Gen AI prompt engineer at this point and like to create automated idiot-proof solutions to efficiency problems for my employees at work. Next thing I’m eager to learning is robotic workflows and automation. Deep knowledge and experience in 3D CAD modelling in AutoDesk Fusion 360 and Inventor Professional. Have designed and built extensive assemblies, including robots, manufacturing/assembly line automation mock-ups, and automated electro-mechanical/mechatronic devices, using these skills. FDM and mSLA 3D printing fanatic with many printers. Also learning CNC/CAM on my own CNC mill! Next step is learning how to do 3D sculpting and forming. Intermediate level in electrical/electronic circuit design with experience designing PCBs with AutoDesk EAGLE and EasyEDA, as well as circuits in AutoCAD (Electrical) and MicroCap. Very experienced in the use of microcontrollers and micro-devices like Arduino/ESP 32/Raspberry Pi. Broad experience in a variety of IoT applications, with in-depth knowledge of embedded C and C++. Beginner at HMI designing and HASS Lovelace UI. Familiar with encoding and decoding wired and wireless signals with a variety of algorithms and with Rx/Tx of data over Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, SPI, I2C, I2S, CAN-BUS, and UART. Love designing, custom building, and implementing smart home IoT devices or improving existing market solutions. Live in a fully automated smart home, with everything from starting my car using Siri to biomimicry automations in my animal enclosures/aquariums. HASS + HomeBridge and Apple HomeKit fanatic. Familiarized with Lutron Caséta and RadioRA3, and certified on Lutron Designer.
