About Ali Khatami

Passionate people leader, software solutions architect, and VP of Software Engineering. For the last nearly 15 years I have lived and breathed software delivery and execution. I’ve managed full stack teams responsible for implementing solutions from networking hardware all the way to securely hosted financial services APIs serving millions of quotes per day. As a technical contributor I served as technical lead for some of the largest banks and brokerages developing workflow tools, quotes and research applications, real time trading platforms, advanced charting capabilities, and document research platforms. In late 2013 I traded in my keyboard for a notebook to focus on people and organizational management. I have a deep appreciation for UI/UX and love to stay close to the tech solutioning with my teams and clients to deliver the best user experience paired with the highest quality implementations. After spending a decade in FinTech I wanted a new challenge, deeper in the tech stack (and OSI layers). I wanted to know that I could manage more than global full stack teams. I was determined to prove that I could manage teams at any level, without relying on the fact that I had built and launched similar tools. The networking and hardware space, with the added challenge of being a Series A start up, was exactly what I was looking for. I’m proud to have been a part of so many wonderful teams over the years and look forward to many more years leading teams and affecting change across organizations.
