About Ali McGuigan

Ali McGuigan is a Manager of Government Relations at National Grid. As part of the federal team in the Washington, DC office, she manages federal agency engagement and the company’s relationships at the Department of Energy, Environmental Protection Agency, and the White House. She covers federal policy and regulatory issues related to climate, environment, and infrastructure, and monitors the implementation of the Infrastructure Investment and Jobs Act and Inflation Reduction Act as it relates to the company’s priorities. Ali also coordinates the company’s response to key federal regulatory filings and public comment periods. She currently serves as a co-chair of the British American Business Association’s Energy & Environment Committee. Prior to joining National Grid, Ali was a Director of Government Relations at Public Strategies Washington, Inc, a multi-client public affairs firm, where she supported clients on issues related to energy, international trade, agriculture, and appropriations. She has a Master of Global Policy Studies from the Lyndon B. Johnson School of Public Affairs at the University of Texas at Austin, and a degree in Political Science and International Relations from Texas Christian University.
