As a recent graduate in Accounting from the University of Maiduguri, I am a highly motivated, detail-oriented and equipped with accounting professional skills with a strong foundation in accounting principles, financial regulations, financial analysis, auditing and industry best practices, complemented by proficiency in accounting software such as QuickBooks, FreshBooks, and Sage 50. My academic background has equipped me with a solid understanding of financial analysis, budgeting, and tax planning, as well as excellent problem-solving, communication, and time management skills. As a seasoned leader, having served as the President of the Investment Club at the University of Maiduguri, I led a team of over 300 students members in analyzing trends and organizing stock simulations. I possess strong leadership and collaboration skills, enabling me to effectively work in a team and drive results. Throughout my academic journey. I also competed in the CFA Nigeria Equity Research Challenge, analyzing financial statements and building valuation models. Currently gaining hands-on experience through a Deloitte virtual internship.
