Ali Rizvi is a Partner at Energy Advisors Group. Prior to joining EAG, Rizvi was the Global Head of Business Development at Enverus. In this role, he oversaw strategic partnerships with Financial institutions making energy investments. Prior to joining Enverus, he spent a decade at PLS, Inc, a market leader in oil and gas research and transaction advisory where he was instrumental in the overall growth of the firm and ultimately divested PLS' research/market intelligence business unit to DrillingInfo (predecessor to Enverus) in June 2018. Under Rizvi's leadership, PLS grew by more than 600% in annual revenues. He is passionate about the Mergers, Acquisitions, and Divestiture business and directly invests in commercial/residential real estate, non-operated oil & gas working interests and mineral overrides. Rizvi earned a B.B.A. in Finance and Management from the Bauer College of Business, University of Houston and has been recognized as Oil and Gas Investor's Forty Under 40 Award for his professional excellence, leadership initiative, community involvement, and entrepreneurial spirit He is a member of the Houston Producers Forum, Independent Petroleum Association of America (IPAA), ADAM Houston and a Board Member for the Society of Petroleum Engineers (SPE) Business Development Study Group. Rizvi grew up in Karachi, Pakistan and lives in Houston with his wife and two children. He loves to stay actively involved in his local Texas community, holding a variety of board seats and leadership roles in organizations and giving back whenever he can.
