About Ali Zeynalli

I hold a Master’s degree in Computer Science with a specialisation in Artificial Intelligence from the University of Tartu, Estonia, complemented by an exchange semester at the University of Groningen, Netherlands. My academic journey began with a Bachelor’s in Science and Technology, majoring in Genetics and Biotechnology. During this time, I developed a strong interest in the intersection of AI and biology, which culminated in a thesis focused on applying deep learning algorithms to classify microscopy images under different treatment conditions. My passion lies at the crossroads of AI, medicine, biomedicine, and bioinformatics, with a particular focus on advancing the application of AI in natural and medical sciences. As a Research Engineer with the Biomedical Computer Vision group at the University of Tartu, I contribute to projects that leverage AI to solve complex biological and medical challenges. With 4 years of experience as a teacher of Biology and Mathematics in an IB-programmed international school, I have honed my ability to convey complex concepts effectively. Fluent in five languages and a quick learner, I thrive in dynamic, multicultural environments. My goal is to continuously expand my expertise and contribute to the development of innovative AI solutions across multiple domains.
