About Alia Gilbert
I design controls for collaborative robotics and human-robot interaction. My thesis on Human Supervision for Multi-Robot Systems which has explored topics including control for multi-robot systems, Mixed-Reality for human supervision of multi-robot systems, haptic tools for human takeover transitions from automation, and human assistance multi-robot systems when stuck in local minima. Using this extensive technical background, I am now interested in filling the gap between state-of-the-art research in robotics, and laws and policy made in this area.
