About Alia Vasilev

My approach to helping others reflects a deep personal regard to shaping individuals to be prepared for their future endeavors. To further explain, throughout my career as a case manager I have been able to apply virtues such as patience, understanding, passion and experience. Being a psychology major, I employ this principle in my work, and is essentially the foundation of my counseling technique. My experience stems from three years as a Qualified Mental Health Professional at a Mental Health clinic and nine years as a Service Coordinator at an Intellectual Disabilities clinic. I traveled to homes and day programs in order to bring services and education to children and adults with IDD. I am always looking to achieve a challenging and professional career in an industry that would allow me to use my experience in human services and where my skills can be utilized and further developed through growth opportunities. I am experienced in team leadership, as well as medical and customer service relations. I have excellent communication skills, as well as people skills.
