Throughout my career, I've had the privilege of holding marketing, advisory, and senior level social and digital leadership positions, charting and refining social media strategy and engagement, communication, public relations and omni-channel marketing solutions for three global entities. Those endeavors have led to more revenue, brand awareness and improved market share. I am also the author of the Social Media book, “A Necessary Evil: Managing Employee Activity on Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn … and the Hundreds of Other Social Media Sites” (SHRM, audio version 2019). A best-seller for the publisher, it advocates the use of social media by employers and their employees. As a subject matter expert on social media strategy, analytics, cyber security and digital communications, I've traveled the U.S, Europe, and Asia training organizations on best practices in social media engagement, including how to devise social media policies and how to use analytics to adjust social media campaigns for optimal results. Working closely with senior executives, stakeholders and corporate leaders in various departments and agencies, I’ve been able to optimize online delivery and execute targeted social-influencer strategies worldwide. An award-winning reporter and writer, I also provide tactical direction on PR, marketing and social media strategies. My first novel, a thriller, debuts in 2024. I engage clients and influencers across various social channels in support of organizational goals and run public relations and assist marketing campaigns. I also handle crisis communication and produce and host podcasts. I also produce Facebook and Instagram Live events using StreamYard and Zoom, as well as storyboard and produce engaging video content to elevate marketing endeavors. I also publicize events and initiatives to increase awareness of the corporate brand, leveraging the best content shared online to drive engagement. With the ability to transform data into actionable intelligence to help refine digital marketing strategies for existing and emerging platforms, I've also streamlined social business plans by focusing on the union of new tools and technologies to foster innovation and scale with an eye toward the future.
