About Alice Barnes

My current role is audit director with Kieran Ryan & Co, a practice based in Dublin 2. I currently act as auditor/accountant to a wide variety of companies and groups across a number of sectors including property development, hotel and leisure, motor sale and leasing, professional services, loan servicing, R&D, and consultancy, among others. I provide advice in both an accounting and advisory capacity to business owners of corporate entities, partnerships and sole traders. I have extensive experience in the property sector, having worked on a number of the larger commercial building developments in Dublin during the economic boom years in both an accounting and audit capacity. I was also involved in numerous large residential building developments during this time. I am currently working with a number of clients in this sector on new developments. I also have extensive knowledge of the hotel and leisure sector. I acted as auditor to the largest hotel operator in Ireland prior to the disposal of a number of properties in 2007 and continue to work with a number of key clients in this sector.
