Darter Specialties is the uniform and apparel decorator of choice for companies interested in enjoying the benefits of the best in customer service. We have grown to become a significant force in the field of company stores and branded apparel having honed our skills as a master embroiderer and screen printer. With automated screen printing equipment as well as multiple embroidery heads, we produce hundreds of thousands of garments annually. These options are augmented by heat transfer and applique'. My husband Guy and I work together in the business, networking and developing new niches while expanding the services we provide to our existing customer base. For more than 25 years Darter has been an active participant within its community and known for it's support of various charities. In August of 2019, Darter was awarded Neighborly Group's Vendor of the Year Award for 2018 by election of its more than franchisees. Shortly thereafter, Darter received the New Haven Record Journal award for Best Embroiderer and Screen-printer in Connecticut. Darter was selected by Molly Maids as its Vendor of the Year for 2016 and was the recipient of the Harold Webster Smith Small Business of the Year Award for 2006.
