About Alice Hall
I graduated in 2015 with a 2:1 in BA Honours English Literature from Cardiff University before going on to work in hospitality management and complete my Diploma in Digital and Direct Marketing. I then ventured into the world of education as an administration officer (focusing on marketing and publications), cover supervisor and unqualified KS3 English teacher. I completed my PGCE in June 2020 with the University of Exeter, receiving the Ted Wragg Award for Excellence for the Secondary English cohort. I have been an English teacher and year tutor at Sexey’s School in Bruton, Somerset since September 2020 and have relished in the challenges put forward to me. Since joining, I was nominated for Pearson New Teacher of the Year and received a Certificate of Excellence. Outside of teaching, I enjoy cycling, singing in a choir (and the car…), running, reading, exploring new places and experimenting with new cuisines!
