About Alice James

I am a GP trainee (GPST3) undergoing Integrated Academic Training (IAT) as a National Institute for Health Research (NIHR) Academic Clinical Fellow (ACF). I work 50% of my week clinically at a GP surgery & 50% as an ACF in collaboration with the Community & Primary Care Research Group (CPCRG) and Plymouth Hepatology Research Group. I am the Climate & Sustainability Representative on the Royal College of General Practitioners Tamar Faculty Board I completed a Clinical Teaching Fellow post and Postgraduate Certificate of Medical Education between my ST1 & ST2 GP Trainee years as an Out of Programme year. During the same year I Co-Chaired the Severn Deanery GP Trainee Committee and continued to work as a member of the Severn GPVTS Committee Welfare team I previously held the GPST Associate in Training (AiT) Representative post on the Severn Faculty Royal College of General Practitioners Board 2020-2022 & sat on the University of Bristol GP Society Committee for 11 years.
