About Alice Marks

I believe great communication connects people to purpose and builds trust at every level. Over the course of my career, I’ve guided organizations through growth, change, and high-stakes challenges by making sure messages are clear, consistent, and grounded in values. My background combines entrepreneurial brand-building with corporate communications. As a founder, I launched consumer brands and created marketing strategies that built awareness and loyalty in competitive markets. That experience in storytelling and customer engagement shaped the communicator I am today. At Beacon Mobility, I established and scaled the company’s first Strategic Communications function, supporting employees across 22 brands. I’ve led major initiatives including the launch of a custom employee app for drivers, crisis communications during union campaigns and vehicle accidents, and media strategies that elevated our reputation and built community trust. I also introduced new feedback channels and recognition programs that directly improved employee engagement year after year. What motivates me is building communication that feels authentic and relevant, whether it’s helping leaders connect with employees, creating tools that make information accessible, or working with media and communities during pivotal moments.
