Alice YY Mok is an award-winning Interior architect known to infuse her artistic sensibilities and ethos for corporations-driven projects. Her ingenious use of materials, bespoke designs and visionary sensibilities have set her apart as one of the leading interior architects of her generation. During her university education at Melbourne, RMIT she began to think about designing a facility that would provide better care for the people, a moment she describes as life changing. She came to the understanding that interior architecture should serve people and — as a prevalent force within all our lives — it too should move into the realm of sustainability and egalitarianism. Since then, she has completed projects that are sensitive to the specific circumstance of site while skillfully and imaginatively resolving complex program issues. Alice has over 25 years of experience in Interior architectural and Environmental sustainability as practitioner.Brings over 25 years of experience in corporate interior design. Specific strengths include conceptualizing and developing strong design themes, space planning and strategic office studies. Successfully designed over sq. ft. of office space for nearly 100 different clients including; Apple, Microsoft, Mayer Brown JSM, ING Insurance, Lee Kum Kee, Deloitte, Nokia, Franklin Templeton, SKY Business Center, Fuji Xerox, McKinsey & Co and Bank of China International.Provides exceptional guidance to the team of Interior designers and Workspace Planners in developing the design concept that addresses business performance requirements. Ensures the team is on track for the development of concept visuals, selection of materials, finishes and development of the right construction details.Winner of numerous awards for design work from the Asia Pacific Interior design Association (APIDA) since 2003.
