About Alice Munhoz

Hi, I'm Alice, a professional with 8 years of experience in Design and 6 years in Product Design. My journey with Design began before I even realized it. As a teenager, I combined my interest in music with my creativity and taught myself how to use Photoshop to create artwork for the bands and artists I admired. In high school, I discovered Design and fell in love with the possibility of combining my creativity with my professional future. In 2015, I started a Design course at Mackenzie Presbyterian University. In 2018, due to my academic performance, the university offered me the opportunity to do a 6-month exchange at L'École de Design in Nantes, France. I lived in Nantes for the equivalent of one semester of my university degree. During this time, I was part of an international class, interacting with classmates from different countries and learning as much about other cultures as I did about my potential. It was at L'École de Design that I first encountered the world of Product Design, which resulted in my first specialization certificate in Interface Design and User Experience. Throughout my career, I've had the opportunity to collaborate with multidisciplinary Design, Product and Technology teams on B2B, B2C and DTC projects. I also had the opportunity to start the Design department at OKN, where I developed fundamental pillars such as managing UX/UI projects and structuring the entire Design cycle within the company. I have always been fascinated by the idea of solving real problems and helping people through creativity. Today, I see Design as more than just creativity; it is the main bridge to building transformative experiences. The Design that transforms is the one that balances functionality and visuals, focusing on creating intuitive, user-centered experiences capable of generating real value.
