About Alicia Carson

I am currently working as a Therapist and Team leader in a Behavioral Transition classroom. We take a Trauma-Informed approach in order to meet our students where they are in the present moment. The role of the Behavior transition program is to set students up for success. We focus on engagement, building connections, and establishing routines. It is an incredible opportunity to work for a company that truly strives to ease adversity and inspire growth through the work that we do each and every day. I am a Nationally Certified Counselor and have a Pennsylvania certification in K-12 School Counseling. I am actively pursuing licensure and receiving supervision to become a Licensed Professional Counselor. I received my Master of Education in December 2017 from Shippensburg University. I am a member of the American Counseling Association and Chi Sigma Iota: International Honor Society for Professional Counseling. I am a Kutztown University Alumni. Aspiring to help people in any way I can. I love elephants, baking, reading, making collages, and music. In my free time, I love making art and writing poetry or short stories.
