About Alicia Dotson

I am an accomplished military leader and logistics specialist with a passion for driving strategic operations, academic research, and mentorship. With over a decade of experience in diverse leadership roles ranging from sustainment to space operations to academics, I have led global teams, managed complex logistics, and executed multi-million-dollar operations. My recent professional journey includes research on environmental security, US-China geopolitics and socioeconomics, and service in disaster relief efforts during the COVID-19 pandemic. At the core of my work is a dedication to global collaboration, innovation in environmental resilience, and mentorship of the next generation of leaders. In my current role as an instructor at West Point, I guide cadets in understanding global geography and environmental issues, preparing them to become informed and effective Army officers. I am always open to conversations about leadership, logistics, and environmental research.
