About Alicia Hall

Hi, I’m Alicia Hall, and I’m proud to be the Creative Director at Venture Studios – a family portrait company that’s been capturing memories since 1998, with studios across the UK, Hong Kong, the USA, and India. I first joined Venture back in 2005 as a trainee photographer and have loved every step of my journey here. From working through every role in the business, to winning Venture Photography awards, and achieving my ABIPP qualification with the British Institute of Professional Photography in 2018 – it’s been an adventure filled with growth and creativity. In 2017, I became the first female Creative Director for the brand, after spending time as Art Director where I developed and led photographic training both in the UK and internationally. Today, alongside my creative leadership, I’m also proud to head up marketing, e-commerce, and social media for Venture – shaping how we connect with our audiences, attract new clients, and build lasting relationships. Beyond Venture, I’m honoured to serve on the Board of Trustees for Citizens Advice – a charity dedicated to improving lives and supporting people through free, confidential advice. Day to day, I love nurturing new talent and dreaming up creative ways to share Venture with the world in our fast-moving digital space. When I’m not doing that, you’ll probably find me parenting my two wonderful children – a role that constantly sharpens my patience, creativity, and multitasking skills – or rummaging through thrift shops hunting for quirky vintage treasures (the thrill of the find never gets old!). All of this, of course, happens with a strong coffee or fizzy kombucha in hand – and always with a big Brummie smile.
