Background

About Alicia Klein

I am a versatile and (pathologically) fearless communicator, determined to leave the world I found a little bit better for my son and all women. I work as as journalist, lecturer, professor, consultant, writer, and activist. Taking everything I learned about leadership, networking, and personal branding, in 15 years of experience in Brazil and abroad, I cofounded _uhmana. We offer lectures, courses, workshops, immersion programs, and mentorships focussed on personal development with integrity, authority, equity, and a tad of humor. You can also find me talking about sports and a bunch of other stuff on SporTV and UOL. I love to exchange knowledge, nourish relationships, and face challenges which demand courage. Quick recap: Today, I wear several hats. Cofounder and CEO at _uhmana, commentator at SporTV, columnist at UOL, partner consultant at Gema Consultoria em Equidade & professor at Enap and Ibmec. In the past, I have exercised important roles at World Athletics, global marketing agencies, and the Brazilian Olympic Committee, with a wealth of experience in the Olympic Games and FIFA World Cups. My previous executive positions include Director of Platforms & Distribution at the international athletics federation and Head of Business Development at CSM Sport & Entertainment. I am an author and coauthor of three books, including Michael Schumacher's biography: A Máquina. I hold a Masters in Sports Industry Management from Georgetown University and a bachelors in Journalism from Universidade Metodista.
