About Alicia M Bartolini

As I begin my career I am currently enrolled in Cosmetology at Ocean County Vocational Technical School (OCVTS). While finishing my second year of Cosmetology, I am taking classes at Ocean County College to work towards my Associates Degree majoring in Liberal Arts. Over the past I have attended Jackson Liberty High School. Considering my enrollment at OCVTS I have gained valuable experience in learning how to become a master hair artist. Currently I have certifications in hair extensions and Keratin Complex treatments. I have been working in a hair salon for two years now, starting right before entering the Cosmetology program at OCVTS in 2014. By working in the salon atmosphere I have learned so much from amazing stylists. I consider myself to be an advanced second year Cosmetology student. I started in the salon as a receptionist and worked my way up to an assistant which I now continue to do. Soon I hope to be working on the floor as a stylist in my salon. My main task is to become a coloring specialist. I take many classes to keep up with the new trends. A quote I live by is “You must give everything to make your life as beautiful as the dreams that dance in your imagination.” Some of my personal qualities are I am very available, I’m great working with people, as well as being an awesome multitasker.
