About Alicia Sargent

I am a passionate and experienced educator with over 10 years of teaching experience in both digital and traditional classroom settings. I hold a Bachelor's degree in Middle Childhood Education from Ohio University, a K–12 Reading Endorsement, and licensure in 4–9 Language Arts and Social Studies. I am currently pursuing a Master’s degree in Literacy from the American College of Education, with expected completion in October 2025. Throughout my career, I’ve been committed to fostering literacy growth, supporting diverse learners, and building inclusive, student-centered classrooms. I have led district-wide initiatives to integrate instructional technology, including the adoption of tools like Formative, and have facilitated professional development to help educators use technology to drive engagement and improve instruction. My strengths include curriculum development, data-informed teaching, and collaborative leadership to support meaningful, equitable learning for all students.
