About Alie Zagata

A recent graduate from Whitman College with a BA with Honors in Anthropology. My primary studies considered health and wellness as well as how studies of culture are related to community building among and between individuals and groups. I am currently pursuing my interests in the wine industry in the Walla Walla valley. I pride myself on the following things- An ability to listen carefully and attentively and communicate well with all levels of an organization and with diverse groups of individuals. I prioritize empathy, sensitivity, and support both one-on-one and in group settings - Strong written and verbal communication skills in academic, customer service, and marketing settings - My desire to think outside of the box and push for new and unique solutions to common (and unbelievable new) obstacles, to set goals and determine courses of action, to successfully deal with those complications calmly and efficiently as they appear - I am a quick and enthusiastic learner with a desire extend my knowledge beyond my everyday work I am proud of my experience in: Customer service, wine, wine cellar maintenance, hospitality, team management, executive leadership, event coordination, anthropological research, non-profit research, academic editing, and web design. My ideal day off would consist of a few (or all) of the following things: A good book, a beautiful hike, great friends, a delicious glass of wine, exploring a new and exciting place, or taking care of my garden.
