About Alika Middleton

I am an artist and founder of Wild Wonder Creators, an arts program that empowers people of all ages to trust their spontaneous, creative instincts by paying attention to the present moment. Our art programs often take place outside to deepen our connection with nature through art. I currently facilitate Mindful Art programs for Embark Behavioral Health’s staff and their clients of young adults struggling with mental health and substance use issues. I lead expressive art programs for individuals and groups, co-facilitates workshops based in trauma-informed bodywork and art expression and host online art nights (Wild Art Club) where people unwind together through creative expression. Prior to Wild Wonder Creators, I taught art education for eight years in K-12 international schools in Arizona and Washington D.C.
