About Alim Ling

Vialing Inc is a company that focuses on improving and simplifying the administrative tasks of Higher Education as well as K-12. It all started in September 2009 that a colleague asked if we could develop software for a college. The requirement was to develop a fully integrated system for all departments inside the college. We thought it was an interesting proposal. We loved to be inside the education industry. Most of us have young kids and I thought that maybe we can somehow make their future better. While waiting for the response from the college, we surveyed 100 other colleges and to our surprise, most of them rely on passing excel files between departments. We also found out the key reason behind not having a good system is mostly due to the cost factor. Being an IT company, I decided to work on building a system for the industry that operates based on the Software-as-a-Service (SaaS) model. 10 years on, Vialing has successfully built one of the most comprehensive and fully integrated management system for the education industry. We created a SaaS Student Systems industry that manage to capture significant market share in the area that we are operating. As the CEO, it is within my vision and mission to continue developing software that is flexible and easy to use. We want the administrators and teaching resources to free up their time from administrative works to focus on delivering quality education. We want to do our bit to build a better future for our kids.
