About Alin Dobre

During my years at Intel, I have been privileged to lead a group of talented engineers, working on various projects, helping them improve their skills and develop their careers. As a team, we are developing a wide range of AI tools (build, debug, profiling, model enablement and visualization, IDE extensions, emulation tools, scripting etc.) for AI application developers to better leverage Intel HW capabilities for enabling and deploying neural networks. My past programming experience includes- C/C++ in Windows/ Linux (Development tools - SoC simulator, debugger, assembler, object dumper, LLVM etc.)- C#- implemented a control for SoC simulator configuration within an IDE and also worked on various other features of the same product. Implemented an image viewing application with click - refocusing capability - OpenCL - implemented an OpenCL driver and a subset of OpenCL built-in functions - LLVM compiler - worked a little bit on instruction selection and some calling convention issues Goals: To work on challenging projects and continue to improve my abilities.
