I’m an IS / IT professional with a passion for technology, strategy and leadership – and have spent the last 20 years enabling businesses and people grow, collaborate and succeed. I’ve worked with businesses across a range of industries: finance, retail, healthcare and professional services, as well as with government bodies on special project work. My experience covers both technical and strategic roles, as well as senior management, executive, advisory and governance positions. Specialties include: systems and infrastructure design, implementation and operation, security and risk management, strategic planning, HR and operations management.Combining both business and technical skills with effective leadership, I focus on driving technology-based solutions that address challenges, minimise risk, reduce costs, support growth and improve processes.Continual learning is another passion of mine. Backing up my practical experience are some solid academic qualifications and industry certifications, including an MBA and a Master of Health Informatics in progress. My work approach is relaxed and collaborative. I delegate and empower people to make decisions, ensuring the vision and way forward is clearly defined. Integrity, diligence and reliability are qualities that are important to me, and they underpin the approach I take to driving outcomes and developing relationships.Outside of work you’ll find me on the water, with family, or learning something new.
