About Alina Braun

As a successful B.Sc. graduate in Mathematics from the University of Cologne and a M.Sc. graduate in Finance with risk management as a concentration at the Frankfurt School of Finance & Management, I am currently working as an IT Consultant at Senacor Technologies. I have already had the opportunity to gain outstanding work experiences as a working student at the Zurich Gruppe Deutschland, one of the market leaders in the insurance industry. As member of the actuarial calculations team, I performed underwriting tests and deviation analysis, implemented actuarial concepts and was responsible for quality assurance. This position allowed me to develop and improve not only my analytical skills but the ability to act as a team player, as well as gaining some outstanding hands-on experience. Following that, I was able to further develop my working experiences while working for the audit company Marazs in Frankfurt. In addition, I have worked at the Hochschulrechenzentrum of the University of Bonn, where I was responsible for technical support and training courses of the new implemented content management system to design university websites. Finally, I wrote my Master‘s Thesis in cooperation with ING Germany and worked in the market and liquidity risk department. My career goal focuses on furthering my knowledge in economics and improving my skills, as well as the opportunity of gaining more responsibility at a market-leading company. I plan to advance the company with innovative thinking and motivation and I am fluent in German and English.
