About Alina Usenko

I am currently a Training Coordinator for the University of Kansas. The Training Coordinator is responsible for creating and delivering quality training programs and professional development opportunities for SSC team members. Additionally, this position is responsible for coordinating the onboarding and off-boarding of employees, as well as partnering with the resources through the Human Resources Office to provide support and resources to team members. In my previous role as a Human Resources Coordinator at the University of Kansas, I handled a variety of responsibilities, such as- Managing staff recruitment for assigned units - Write position descriptions with measurable qualifications. Assist campus units with completing recruitment plan documents and preparing associated materials for the recruitment process- Assist applicants with questions on application process, track background check completion, ensure supporting/organizational documents are attached and monitor recruitment processes to ensure university guidelines are followed- Collecting all onboarding materials from prospective hires - Training incoming HR staff upon assignment I have a Bachelor's degree in Applied Behavioral Science with a specialty in Organizational Behavior Management. Through my educational and professional experience, I have learned that I am driven by my passion to help people achieve their full potential within their jobs. I strive to do this through applying the latest behavioral principles to organizational settings. My experience in the Performance Management Center at the University of Kansas has provided me with valuable skills such as effective group collaboration, training development, and interpersonal communication.
