Early Recovery & Resilience Building Technical Specialist : These are many challenges for helping o increase the resilience of communities be affected by the cise and thus contribute to reduce their vulnerabilities and poverty in general. So, I think that we need to have a package of response for crisis challenge, and together, it’s possible to have efficient responses. In this respect and for the coming years, specifically for the Est-DRC, I will to: 1. Support UNDP in promoting Early Recovery /Resilience Building; 2. Give my expertise to the my CO’s program delivery, to its coordination and management; 3. Give the information and advocacy for a management based on results, and, 4. Help linking humanitarian process to stabilization and the longer term agenda (transition to development). As the ER/RB technical Specialist / Program Manager, I hear to contribute effectively in the implementation of programs / projects proposed by UNDP-DRC while ensuring the integration of an Early recovery approaches in order to enhance the community resilience, in DRC (ie East - DRC / Nord-Kivu). On the other hand and in regard to my preceding experiences from UNDP-CAR, I's to work to contribute to the recovery (increase) and to the stabilization of communities affected by the conflicts or the natural disasters by providing i) the support to UNDP in promoting ER/RB; ii) the Practical support to humanitarian and stabilisation actors; identifying opportunities and constraints and lending support to take the opportunities; Advocate to donors on the importance of early recovery/resilience building to maximise the potential for mobilising resources to support integrated projects that respond to immediate needs and illustrate how the project contributes to longer term recovery and community resilience.
