After earning my Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, I had the opportunity to join the audit department of a Big Four firm, an experience that pushed me to grow quickly and deepen my technical and analytical expertise. Over three years in external audit, I built a strong foundation in accounting while working across diverse industries, enhancing my critical thinking, attention to detail, and ability to perform under tight deadlines. I also gained hands-on experience in areas like internal controls, inventory procedures, and financial statement analysis. This experience provided me with a comprehensive understanding of accounting standards and sharpened my ability to analyze data, solve problems, and communicate effectively with clients and teams. Driven by a lifelong goal and a commitment to personal and professional growth, I moved to Canada to embrace new experiences. I enrolled in a Data Analytics program, blending my accounting background with analytical skills to drive more insightful financial analysis. Currently, I work as an Accounts Receivable Coordinator at a civil engineering company, where I ensure timely invoicing and collect payments alongside our clients, and I'm constantly looking for ways to improve operations.
