About Alisa Canter

11 years ago I left a career in technical apparel design in corporate retail for a fresh start in the outdoor industry; I haven’t looked back since. I began on the sales floor of a local independent retailer and worked my way up, managing employees, setting visual displays, and moving on to several successful positions within the outdoor industry.In every position I’ve held, I have led the charge in connecting customers to an experience, not just the product at hand. I’ve planned scavenger hunts and trail runs for small business owners looking to engage their customers more. I’ve taken a weekend to hike with customers to ensure the base layers they purchased will meet their needs on their next big trip.I am passionate about the great outdoors, and I want everyone I meet to have that same sentiment.
