About Alisa Gordon

I am an Actuary with excellent problem solving and technical skills coupled with outstanding communication skills. I have worked with state Medicaid agencies and providers to address complex issues and develop solutions to support quality, value, and sustainability in state Medicaid programs. Prior to working in the health sector, I worked as a Retirement Consultant where I managed all aspects of pension plan funding and accounting valuations, plan design and a multitude of other projects for my clients. I was also substantially involved with other aspects of employee benefits through cross-practice client teams and business development activities. With nearly 3 years of experience in pricing in the PBM industry, I helped to develop pricing strategy by creating benchmarking tools, and I was involved in the development and marketing of a new pharmacy stop-loss insurance product. I also have a keen interest in music, and I sing and play flute in a band for fun. My unique blend of technical and interpersonal skills add value to my teams and my clients.
