Throughout the course of my professional career, I have consistently been rewarded with expanded levels of responsibility due to my proficiency in leadership and accountability. As you review my profile you will note that I possess my Bachelor of Arts in Film Production from Brooklyn College. In addition, I have an Avid Media Composer Certification and obtained a Certificate in Digital Video Editing from New York Film Academy. While I have historically worked outside the film and television industry, I am actively seeking to utilize my transferable skill and obtain a role with a quality organization in that field that affords the opportunity for advancement. Please allow me to highlight some skills and accomplishments below: Presently, I am a Senior Billing Specialist with Blanton-Peale Institute and Counseling Center in New York, NY. Each day I receive claims, verify information, and processes more than 150 accounts with accuracy and precision. I am also adept at identifying billing issues, sourcing root causes, and remediating problems swiftly. During my tenure, I have been able to maximize reimbursements for clients and enhance overall billing collections by 90%. I was promoted to this role after serving as a Receptionist for a short time. From 2014 to 2018, I served as a Merchandise Associate with Rick Steiner Productions in New York. My role was focused on selling souvenirs associated with Jersey Boys and Honeymoon in Vegas. I built displays, replenished stock, and ensured our set-up was always appealing to customers. I demonstrated the ability to succeed in a fast-paced environment when peak selling times were tied to Broadway show curtain times. I am proud to share that I increased sales by 30% while I was with the organization. Since I am focused on working for an entertainment-related company, I’d like to mention some other professional roles with such entities. I served as a Stage Management PA and House Manager with Premieres NYC, I was a Theatre Operations Intern with Jujamcyn Theatres Corporation, and a Production Assistant / DIT with White Whale Films.
