About Alischa Ross

As an Associate Director of Think Impact, I'm fortunate to be part of one of Australia's most experienced social impact and sustainability advisory firms committed to supporting a wide range of clients to manage for better impact. To me managing for better impact means designing a clear way to understand the specific impact an organisation wants to create, developing the tools needed to measure what happens, creating clear and transparent ways to communicate what changes and building a culture committed to learning, and continuous improvement. I have a background in health promotion with a Master of Public Health (MPH) alongside 13 years’ as CEO of a national youth health promotion organisation. My experience includes leading the design of complex organisational wide monitoring and evaluation strategies, conducting impact evaluations, translating data into impact communications and business strategy development with an impact focus. I am an experienced facilitator and love helping organisations find creative ways to tell their unique stories of impact, including through data visualisation, the production of impact films, digital communications and public activations. Much of my work at Think Impact has involved leading projects in the areas of health and wellbeing, community housing, youth and family services, justice, philanthropy and working with many First Nations led initiatives. With a strong knowledge of public health policy, I have held advisory roles with state and federal government departments and worked with many global health networks, including United Nations agencies. I've developed my skills through training opportunities with the UN Global Compact Network Australia, Melbourne Business School Centre for Executive Leadership, Harvard University’s Not for Profit leadership program and Leadership Victoria.
