About Alisha Kumar

Over the course of my 5 year career I have stepped into various roles such as Team Leader, Patient Flow Manager, Discharge Planner and Acting Clinical nurse, in several specialties such as Medical Assessment Unit, 4 East Acute Medical, 5 East Surgical, Delirium and Falls Unit (DAFU) and Emergency Department. These roles have provided me the ability to demonstrate an understanding of the array of contemporary practice and theory utilized in specialty areas. I have successfully and efficiently coordinated and managed both staff, patients and the ward/department through the use of advanced clinical and problem solving skills. This has enabled me to delegate and coordinate my team to optimize patient flow while ensuring the delivery of care maintained is patient centered and align with Metro Souths Values and Beliefs.
