Here is a link to my personal website, alishayang.com Experienced Industrial Specialist with a demonstrated history of working in the higher education industry collaborating with top enterprises such as SunLife Financial, HUAWEI, Loblaw Digital. Strong professional with an honour Bachelor of Engineering degree in Industrial Engineering with Business Minor from the University of Toronto and a candidate for Master of Applied Science in Industrial engineering with a full scholarship, expect to graduate in October 2021. Currently working with Sunlife Financial as a collaborative contractor for developing a platform in aiding the data exfiltration anomaly detection and file activity monitoring. Leading the data visualization, data analytics, insights reporting, interactive dashboard design using Tableau in the team. Received Mitacs Research Awards in 2 consecutive years. Collaborated with data analyst in Loblaw Digital and studying the menu hierarchy of online retail setting for beauty industry. Published the paper "Beauty and the Beastly Search: Finding Luxury in a Product Hierarchy" at the HFES conference. Participated in the collaborated project between the University of Toronto and HUAWEI, in developing the intention-based automated TIMELINE agent. Leading the user profile analytics, UI design using Axure and contributed to the automation framework development, and create interactive dashboards with 5 Levels of Automation (LoA). Six years of education in user experience and data analytics at the University of Toronto, have a versatile professional experience in industry-driven insights analysis, project management, data analytics, data visualization, user-centric design and UI prototyping design.
