I am a PhD candidate at the University of Melbourne, Department of Infectious Diseases, based at the Peter Doherty Institute for Infection and Immunity. My research focuses on optimising screening and improving detection of tuberculosis (TB) during pregnancy to enhance maternal and neonatal outcomes. I am the current recipient of the Victorian Nurses and Midwifery Trust (VNMT) PhD scholarship. In addition to my PhD, I work as a Clinical Research Coordinator at the University of Melbourne, Dept of Infectious Diseases. My primary responsibility is the coordination of the ID Predict-TB study. This is a longitudinal study of immunological and other factors associated with the risk of developing TB after exposure.
