Nursing has given me an incredible opportunity to use my knowledge and experience while sharing my compassion for those who are suffering physically, emotionally, and spiritually. I have experienced the profession grow and evolve incredibly to now include nursing research, setting standards of practice, and becoming increasingly important and respected. Although most of my years have been at the bedside, I have enjoyed providing nursing education and supervision to my fellow nurses.
