About Alison Buchanan

In the eight years of working with the BC Public Service, I have been working as a Project Manager, Certified Change Management Practitioner, and Certified Scrum Master, involved in numerous projects, initiatives, and activities, building on my twenty years of experience as an Operations Manager in high volume retail stores. I feel the diversity of my current and past positions is one of the many reasons I am well matched for this position. During both periods I have been faced with change, conflict, problem solving, and fluctuating priorities that require I collaborate and strategize with people from many different roles, areas, and organizations. This has enabled me to become versatile, resourceful, and build strong and trusting working relationships with a variety of partners and co-workers to meet and exceed desired outcomes. My career has progressed by taking on more responsibilities and embracing new challenges. My success is a direct result of my commitment to personal and professional excellence and growth, and my collaboration abilities.
