About Alison Cisneros

A seasoned AutoCAD Design Drafter, assisting Engineers/Project Managers in preparing their construction set of drawings for design review, permitting, bidding and construction process for the City of Ft. Lauderdale and private clients. Also have worked with plan sets for Wireless Communication. Majority of my 20 + years/career have been in Civil Engineering Division of the City of Fort Lauderdale. Some of my duties have involved preparing as-built plans from the field, working on water, storm and our sewer projects. A lot of my work has been with our Civil, Electrical and Structural Engineers. I have many hours out in the field assessing the proposed work in our facilities, roadway design or out on the water inspecting our many bridges. For more than a few years I managed our Annual Navigational Signage & Ocean Buoys contracts, as a result had to arrange construction meeting and prepare the entire big package. I went to the field to assess damage done after Hurricane Wilma and any request for signage down or needed signs for certain areas. In the past 5 years the work in our department has shifted more into using ArcGIS Mapping tools to analyze certain proposed City-wide master plans. Therefore presently do a lot more projects in ArcMap/ArcGIS/ArcGIS Online to produce maps and even use AutoCAD to import current topographical surveys and utilities into ArcMap for our projects. Specialties: Drafting Construction plans (using AutoCAD Civil 3D 2021) and specification documents that are required for Permitting/DRC/Bid Packages. ArcGIS Mapping.
