Solicitor, qualified arbitrator and CEDR accredited adjudicator. Experienced in resolving a wide range of consumer disputes including allocation of residential tenancy deposits, telephone and internet service disputes, and holiday disputes. Experienced in resolving over cases, I've gained expertise in all relevant areas of law relating to consumer disputes, including issues of contract, guidelines governing business practice, and consumer protection legislation. My adjudication work requires a high level of neutral evaluation of all evidence provided in order to determine a reasonable and proportionate outcome, before writing a fully reasoned and clear decision. It is my firm belief that if an unwelcome decision is explained in a clear and logical manner, the parties will be satisfied with the service and able to use the experience to make more successful business decisions in future. This experience and insight is invaluable when assessing a client's case in a dispute or position in non-contentious negotiations. I am enthusiastic, innovative and driven. My fundamental goal is to ensure the development of myself and others in an efficient manner and without conflict. I therefore have a natural interest in ADR in general, as a way to resolve disputes, avoid them arising, and with skills applicable to wholly non-contentious negotiations and agreements. In commencing a training contract I am looking to expand my knowledge and areas of expertise and I seek to build upon my experience, fairly unique at a junior level, to improve the client experience and outcome. I use technology wherever possible to streamline my work, resulting in more time focused on the client outcome and less on procedural matters. I retain a keen interest in adjudication, in particular its established role in sectors such as construction, and the widespread benefits found in other methods of ADR.
