Hello, is name is Ali, I am a qualified Person Centred Counsellor with BSc hons from Derby University. I completed a post graduate diploma in systemic family practice.I have completed Applied Suicide Intervention Training. I am based on the Wirral. I am an accredited member of the MBACP (British Association of Counsellors and Psychotherapists). I am a passionate, empathic and honest humanistic counsellor. I provide 1-1 and family creative and talking therapy within a safe confidential space. I offer a therapeutic relationship where you can feel listened to, accepted and valued. Together we can explore your hidden thoughts and deep feelings. I aim to walk alongside you on this journey of discovery. By gaining understanding of our experiences we can begin to understand our thoughts and feelings. Together, we can help you find your voice, improve your self confidence and unlock your true potential. I love what I do and I feel passionate about improving your emotional health and overall mental wellbeing. I have gained experience working with young people aged 11-16 years of age in numerous Education settings and at Next Chapter. I have gained awareness and understanding of some of the current challenges they face such as exam pressures, social media, changes to family dynamics, issues around food, identity etc. I have also gained experience of counselling both male and female carers at Wired. Together we explored the impact of caring for a love done 24/4. We explored anticipated loss and bereavement.
