Background

About Alison Hansen

I have recently completed my Masters of Science in Management, specializing in Business Analytics at the Ivey Business School. My academic journey began with the successful completion of my Honours Bachelor of Medical Sciences from Western University.I love to learn. I believe that you must be out of your comfort zone in order to grow, and I enjoy putting myself into situations where I can be learning constantly, making myself better, and ultimately, working toward achieving a greater good. My background in Medical Sciences has afforded me a skillset that includes problem-solving, critical thinking, perspective-taking, and science literacy. Combined with my Business Analytics degree, I believe this skillset is suitable for many industries, namely Energy, Finance, and International Business, which I have interest in further exploring. Outside of school and work, I prioritize living a healthy and active lifestyle. Particularly, running, cycling, and skiing are activities that excite me and allow me to explore new places while challenging myself to reach new goals.
