Since 2015 I have been working as an Analytical Chemist.I work as part of Almac Sciences Stability team. I carry out analysis on timepoints on different projects while continually improving myself to enhance my work knowledge and increase my practical techniques. Along with fulltime work I completed a Masters in Pharmaceutical Annalysis graduated with a Distinction. As an Analytical Technician Grade 2, this initial position role involved ensuring the maintenance and running of all equipment with analyst work along side senior analyst on projects.This job has open many doors for me along with challenging new roles. In December 2013 I was given the additional role of working in Physical Science with senior chemists carrying out various analysis. I have moved to the Stability team and carry out several stability setdowns, timepoint analysis, I feel my personality attributes and hard work resulted in me being hired to a job that gives so much to their employee. I hold a First Honours of Bsc in Bio pharmaceutical science and Merit 1 of Bsc in Pharmaceutical Science. I have great passion for science. For the summers of 2013 and 2012 I have worked on research projects in Dundalk Institute of Technology taking part in the internship programmes. I have gained vital experience and continually broadening my techniques and skills to apply in the industrial sector of bio pharmaceuticals and Pharmaceuticals. These experiences have made me highly motivated. I came out of college seeking a challenging role in the pharmaceutical/biopharmaceutical industry where my education will add significant value. My attributes of the ability to work as part of a team and on my own initiative, friendly personality, good communication and people skills, along with fast efficient ability to master training techniques and strong attitude in work to give 110%, coupled with extensive laboratory hours and high standard of laboratory practice I am permanet employee of Almac.
