After two decades in IT, primarily in the investment banking sector, my family and I set out on a one-year adventure to Barcelona. We quickly fell in love with Spain’s rich culture, laid-back lifestyle, and vibrant community of like-minded people—and before we knew it, that one year had turned into a decade. Since 2017, my husband, Alastair, and I have guided expats in their relocation to Spain. Our company, Moving to Spain, provides a comprehensive hub of free resources, including expert guides, tools, research, and events covering every aspect of relocation—helping Expats move seamlessly and thrive once they have arrived in Spain. We offer personalized relocation services in collaboration with our carefully vetted and continuously assessed network of professionals, providing expert support in visas, tax planning, healthcare, housing, and more to ensure a seamless transition for our clients. Our second business, Where Can I Live, supports expats at the earliest stages of their journey, helping them explore and decide which country best fits their lifestyle and future goals. Having lived in six countries, I deeply understand the challenges and stress of moving abroad, which is why we strive to make the process as seamless and stress-free as possible so you can start enjoying your new life abroad sooner.
