Background
About Alison Lanier
I am a writer and game dev based in Boston, where I am part of the narrative team at CD Projekt Red. I also work on a variety of publications both in an editorial and administrative capacity. I graduated with a double major in English with Creative Writing and Cinema and Media Studies, with an emphasis on journalistic non-fiction, literary fiction, video production, and media theory. I undertook creative writing, teaching, and literary theory work in digital writing, publication, and fiction for a terminal MFA from UMass Boston and most recently earned a master's from MIT in comparative media studies. My background is in technical freelancing, short non-fiction pieces, copy editing, and social media, with experience in video production as well as both book and magazine publishing.
