About Alison Lee

Sustainability leader with 20+ years of experience advancing decarbonization, circularity, and ESG leadership across the aluminum, manufacturing, and consumer products industries. Currently leading sustainability at Novelis, where I steer global strategy, external advocacy, and internal integration of carbon, recycled content, water, and waste KPIs. I’ve built sustainability governance systems, achieved aggressive carbon reduction milestones, and developed commercial models that help customers reduce their environmental footprint through low-carbon aluminum. I’m also active in shaping industry-wide impact, serving as Board Sustainability Chair at Alumobility and leading multiple technical workstreams across global aluminum associations. I bring a deep background in life cycle assessment (LCA), ESG frameworks (CDP, GRI, SASB, DJSI), and integrating sustainability into core business and innovation strategies. I thrive on cross-functional collaboration and am driven by opportunities to connect science, strategy, and storytelling to accelerate a more sustainable future. Let’s connect if you’re working on circular solutions, industrial sustainability, or building the next generation of ESG leadership.
